Dean RamjoomiaSocial Development Field Workerdean@capetowncid.co.za 082 928 3862 Dean comes to the CCID from the District Six Haven. He also worked with gangsters as part of Operation Hanover Park. He walks the City’s streets daily, trying to make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable. |

Headman SiralaralaSocial Development Field Workerheadman@capetownpartnership.co.za 021 419 1881 Headman was born and bred in Eastern Cape. He has one son and has been married for 10 years. He also worked for Homestead for a period of ten years, which is a street children organization in Cape Town. |

Mark WilliamsSocial Development Field Workermark@capetowncid.co.za 021 419 1881 For the last eight months Mark has worked as a social development field worker for the CCID. He is not office-bound, is not compelled to work office hours but is on call 24 hours a day. Mark’s job is to find out from those begging or sleeping rough what needs they may have, why and for how long they have been living on the street and whether he can refer them to the relevant services. Ideally, he would like to convince them to return home. |
