Alex’s academic background is a combination of science and design having completed a Masters in Landscape Architecture after a BSc in Environmental Sciences and Archaeology. She has spent the last three years in the social innovation realm exploring different ways of reducing crime in the Western Cape with The Safety Lab. Alex is passionate about people-centric public spaces that are open, accessible, safe and inspirational to everyone in Cape Town – both day and night.
