Romeo and Juliet
A contemporary re-vision of the Shakespeare classic, set in Cape Town 2010 with the Montagues and Capulets running two competing soccer teams, specially staged for Grades 10 and 11 learners whose set work it is. DAytime performances to accomodate school audiences. Public also welcome at night-time performances. Tickets cost R40 for schools and R100 for public performances on 17,30 April and 1 May at the Theatre.

Stomp
A wildly entertaining show that will have your heart ponding to the infectious rhythms that 12 brilliantly synchronised performers beat our with truck inner tubes, rubber hosing, Zippo lighters, plastic bags, metal dustbins, bin lids, tubs, water butts and, yes, even the kitchen sink! And then there are brooms that are turned into soft shoe partners, and a row of folding chairs that are straddled, slid, slammed and slapper into rhythmic submission. Tickets range from R75 to R295 at the Opera House.

Disdae by Morrie
Award winning actors Chris van Niekerk and Pedro Kruger bring the stage adaption of Mitch Albom’s top-seller to Cape Town! Morries story, and the influence it had on Tiaan’s life, is a journey that changes many lives. When Prof Morrie is diagnosed with a terminal disease, former student Tiaan contacts him and the two start visiting every Tuesday, until Morrie’s death. With pathos and humour we see how Morrie’s approaching death makes Tiaan focus on that which is truly important. One of 2010′s theatre highlights! Tickets cost R90 athte Arena.

Grease
The classic musical about teenage school life in America in the 1950′s! this production is billed as the ulitmate party show.
