Trafalgar: the park of possibilities

The Cape Town Partnership’s annual stakeholders’ function, hosted along with the City of Cape Town and the Cape Town Heritage Trust, celebrated the many partnerships that make our work possible – as well as an exciting opportunity to be a part of plans to rejuvenate Trafalgar Park itself. Celebrating the power of collaboration

Cape Town Partnership 2012 annual report

One of the challenges we face at the Cape Town Partnership is how to explain what we do and account for the year that’s gone by when so much of our work is invisible: We don’t build bridges or physically upgrade the city of Cape Town ourselves. We aren’t structured to make a profit. The work we do is primarily to nurture relationships between people – who then go out and do the work of transforming the city. We build bridges between people and institutions, to help the city work better. Our assets are the people we work with and our relationships with them. Continued…
