Trafalgar: the park of possibilities
Last night saw Trafalgar Park in Woodstock transformed from just another urban park to an unexpected event space. Celebrating the power of collaboration
One of the challenges we face at the Cape Town Partnership is how to explain what we do and account for the year that’s gone by when so much of our work is invisible: We don’t build bridges or physically upgrade the city of Cape Town ourselves. We aren’t structured to make a profit. The work we do is primarily to nurture relationships between people – who then go out and do the work of transforming the city. We build bridges between people and institutions, to help the city work better. Our assets are the people we work with and our relationships with them. Continued…
