Culture and the Right to the City

A report Culture and the Right to the City: Diversity in the Cultural Ecology of Cape Town, written by Zayd Minty, the current Creative Cape Town Coordinator was released by the urban think tank Isandla Institute at the end of January 2009. It argues that in order to achieve an inclusive city a number of interventions are necessary, most importantly being a mindshift change towards the intercultural city and an enabling environment for this to happen.

The SAMCO Report 2009/10

The SAMCO Report 2009/10 is the 13th consecutive edition of this annual publication. As in previous years, each contributor receives copies of the Report for distribution to their clients. In addition, copies of the Report were distributed to delegates at the SAPOA Convention, held at the Durban International Convention Centre in June 2009. Copies are also available from SAPOA.
