Our work

Making our city a better place to live – no matter who you are or where you’re from – takes work. It requires lots of large, and little, changes from all of us.

That’s why the Cape Town Partnership is involved in such a wide range of projects. Whether you’re interested in encouraging Capetonians to walk, cycle or take the bus, train or taxi; or working with homeless and marginalised communities to help build understanding and better support systems; or growing informal trade or the creative industries, there’s sure to be something here for you. Get involved. Better yet, get out into the city and make the change you want to see.

Did you know: All of our projects form part of a ten-year strategy for the central city of Cape Town, developed in collaboration with the City of Cape Town? Relevant from 2008 to 2018, it’s our compass to a more liveable African city.

Did you know: The Cape Town Partnership has incubated several organisations including the Central City Improvement District (CCID), the Western Cape Economic Development Partnership (EDP) and the Safety Lab.
